Mr. Firas is the Chairman of Al Tanmiya Holding Company, Deputy Managing Director for Finance and Investment at Educational Holding Group which includes the Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST), and a Board Member of EYAS for Higher & Technical Education, Kuwait . His educational achievements include a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration – Finance from University of Portland , USA , a Masters Degree of Science in Investment Management from the City University of London, UK and an Investment Management Certificate (IMC) from Financial Services Authority, UK .

He is a member of the UK Society of Investment Professionals (UKSIP) & The Association for Investment Management and Research (AIMR). He has attended several business courses in the areas of Investment and Management such as, Mergers & Acquisitions, Credit Analysis, Capital Markets, Securities Analysis, Investment Analysis & Portfolio Management, Financial Forecasting, Industry Analysis, Risk Analysis, and various management development courses.
